The body and slidings are made of specially selected, shock resistant high quality cast iron. Built for heavy duty use and designed for accuracy. The jaws are made of heat-treated steel and are replaceable. Handles have finger protecting rubber grommets on each end. This vise can be also used in connection with a swivel base.
