These zinc plates (anodes) are specially designed for use in the cathodic protection of a ships hull, propeller, ballast tanks, cylinder liner, seawater pipes, etc. The plates are also used for the protection of equipment carrying seawater such as heat exchangers, condensers, and salt water evaporators.
