Coil packing made of blended yarn of aramid fibers and of artificial inorganic fibers treated with PTFE dispersion, braided into a square cross section, and then finished soft with PTFE dispersion and lubricating oil. Features: Flexible and compatible with shafts. Being white, can be used for fluid applications where black should be avoided. Can be used as shaft seals of pumps for handling water-based and oil-based fluids as well as weak acid and weak alkaline fluids. Also used as shaft seals for rotating machines where contamination is undesirable, such as mixers and agitators.
