Newly developed high corrosion resistant aluminium brass material for use in condenser and heat exchanger tubes. “ALUMIBRASS” added Ni to the ordinary contents of the so-called standard alumi brass. These tubes are used most often for various equipment in marine service including not only condensers, various heat exchangers and the heating coils, but also seawater conduits. In the case of ships, as seawater is used for cooling water, most tubes are made of alumi brass because of the very good results. The standard sizes of the tubes are shown below.
