A pressure control contains a single-pole changeover switch. The position of the contacts depends on the set scale value and the pressure in the inlet connection. This control is used as protection against too low a suction pressure or too high a discharge pressure on compressors for refrigeration and air conditioning plants. Also used for starting and stopping refrigeration compressors and condenser fans.
