A thermostat contains a single-pole changeover switch. The position of the contacts depends on the set scale value and the temperature of the sensor. This thermostat can be connected directly to single-phase alternating current motors up to 2 kW or inserted in the control circuit of direct current motors and larger alternating current motors.
