DN 15 thru DN 40 : forged steel, face to face acc. to EN 558-1, 1 (DIN 3202-F1) and solid wedge. DN 50 thru DN 300 : cast steel, face to face acc. to EN 558-1, 26 (DIN 3202-F7) and flexible wedge. Application : steam, hot and cold water, oil, air, gas etc. Remark: the gland packing can be replaced during operation with the wedge in fully-open position.
